Rayven's Porch

Logo for the author's YouTube channel. Two white mugs sit on a porch railing, a smaller heart-shaped photo is nestled on the side, showcasing the author in a black sunflower dress holding a bouquet of freshly cut wildflowers.

Years ago, I wanted to start a YouTube channel that was like if Martha Stewart, Morticia Addams, and Rachel True created some unhinged love child. I let life get in the way, as one does.  Then we started this grand, out of our fucking minds, adventure to ravel around while the world fucking burned or not, I guess we’ll see.  I’ve had a number of people say that I should start a page to document everything, and I get it.

My perspective is less well-polished, influencer, and more painfully blunt reality checks with a healthy dose of sarcasm.  I didn’t want my page to be only about that, though.

My initial blog was mostly about homeschooling and parenting, but those are the big things I write about now.  So I don’t want to pigeonhole myself into one little niche again; instead, I went back to my original idea.  A channel that shares the crafty things I do, the recipes I cook up, the unconventional life advice I hold, and a bit of travel and witchy fun thrown in as well.

My own little slice of the internet to showcase all the weird and wonderful things that make this journey called life so fucking grand, even when it’s kicking our asses.  So come join me on My Porch, it’s where life happens.
